What is SpaceApp?+
SpaceApp is a super agent app for building with AI. Start with a conversation, then bring your agents, tools, files, previews, plans and shared memory into the same space. Use as much of it as you need.
What is Nous?+
Nous is one mind for your whole space. It sees every room, pane, copilot and plan, does the routine work itself and brings you only the decisions that need you, such as releases, deletes and anything that reaches third parties or money.
How does the Vault keep my passwords from agents?+
Your browser encrypts each login and the database keeps only ciphertext; a root-owned broker on your host holds the key. Agents and Nous ask the broker to fill a login or a one-time code and get back a status, not the value.
Can I keep working from my phone or tablet?+
Yes, once your installation is reachable from them. By default SpaceApp listens only on its own host; to use it from a phone, tablet or another computer, give it a reachable address with TLS and a firewall (see Remote & mobile access in the docs). The host must stay on.
Is SpaceApp free?+
SpaceApp is free to self-host. Bring your own AI accounts or API keys; provider subscriptions and usage are separate.
What licence does SpaceApp use?+
SpaceApp is open source under the MIT License, copyright INTRATRADE SINGLE MEMBER P.C. You may use, copy, modify, distribute and sell it, including self-hosting and commercial use, as long as the copyright and licence notice stay with it. The LICENSE file on GitHub has the full terms. What do the Anthropic, OpenAI and NVIDIA programs mean for me?+
SpaceApp's maker, oll4.com (INTRATRADE SINGLE MEMBER P.C.), was accepted into Anthropic's Claude for Startups program (October 2026) and is enrolled in the OpenAI Partner Network (onboarding since October 2026). SpaceApp is a member of NVIDIA Inception (since 29 October 2026, through its maker). Membership in a program is not an endorsement of SpaceApp by Anthropic, OpenAI or NVIDIA. Nothing changes for you: SpaceApp runs on your own accounts and keys. © 2025 NVIDIA, the NVIDIA logo, and NVIDIA Inception are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of NVIDIA Corporation in the U.S. and other countries.
How does SpaceApp compare with other agent workspaces?+
SpaceApp runs on your own host, and you reach it from a browser on any computer, phone or tablet. It runs 16 AI coding CLIs side by side on your own accounts and is MIT licensed. The comparison page puts it next to eight other tools, with a source for every cell.
Do I need to install every AI tool?+
No. Start with one conversation or one agent, and add providers and accounts as your work grows. The setup starts with OpenCode; you choose what to connect next.
Are the copilots on when I install?+
No. The copilot panes are optional modules, and new installs start with none of them; you turn one on with optionalModules in the launcher's config.json and npx --yes run-spaceapp@latest repair.
How do new tools reach my install?+
Through the launcher: npx --yes run-spaceapp@latest update brings the newest public release, and the release notes list what each version brings.
Where does my work live?+
Your workspace runs on your own installation. Connected AI and external services process the information you send to them under their own policies.
Does SpaceApp send telemetry?+
Only if you say yes. The install wizard lists what is sent and asks; the default is No. With Yes, a new install gets a random install ID that links its events: the install (OS, CPU, RAM, profile, versions), owner setup, the first CLI and the first answer, and at most one activity event a day (screen size, browser, UI language, version). No files, prompts, answers or credentials are sent, and the IP address is not stored. Nothing is sent with No.
Can I try it before installing?+
Yes. The live demo runs in your browser with local demo data and no account; it does not contact AI providers or a real installation. When you like it, install your own workspace.
